So. . . let me tell you how I really feel about doing the dishes. :-)

Let's just say I'd rather stitch about doing the dishes than actually do the dishes. This is sized to fit on a tea towel, but it would also look great in other uses. Perhaps you'd like to frame it to hang over your sink? Or maybe stitch it on an apron. It's a not-so-subtle way to tell everyone else what chore you'd really like them to volunteer for. :-)

No matter how you use it - have fun!

This is exclusively available as a PDF pattern, delivered instantly and ready to print onto letter-size paper. No shipping costs and no waiting! If you're not sure what a PDF pattern is, you'll find more info here.

Pattern Details

You Get. . .

  • digital pattern delivered by email. (If you're not sure what a PDF pattern is, you'll find more info here.)
  • a full-sized pattern (prints on four sheets of paper) plus an extra version sized so the whole thing fits on a single sheet of paper. That'll make it easy to enlarge or reduce it to any size you want.
  • a reversed image for use with iron-on transfer tools
  • links to videos teaching both of the stitches I used on the sample

Size

This is a big pattern - the image is just under 16" x 22" and fits beautifully on my favorite tea towels from Dunroven House. (You can find sources for all my favorite supplies here.)

Difficulty

It'll take several nights to stitch but the stitching is really easy.

That's right - I said easy. It's all one color and you can use your favorite outline stitch. I used backstitch on the block letters and stem stitch on those last few words in script.

Inject a little humor into a dreaded chore. Unless, of course, you love doing the dishes. :-)
