Pattern Details

Size

Frankie measures 10” long when completed with worsted weight yarn.

>Want a bigger or smaller lobster? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!

Difficulty

Frankie is a beginner level pattern, but to crochet those claws you'll need to know how to crochet standing legs - best tackled if you've already made one or two amigurumi.

  • 2 colors of worsted weight yarn: (Sample shown in Plymouth Galway Worsted. Red: 145 yards and White: 10 yards)
  • Size H crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Pair of 12mm black animal eyes
  • Polyester Stuffing stuffing
  • Locking stitch markers (for counting rounds, optional)
