Pattern Details

Size

This dragon will be about 9” tall when crocheted with a worsted weight yarn. 

Want a bigger or smaller dragon? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!

Difficulty

This is a beginner level pattern, but it does require you to make some creative decisions along the way so I recommend it for people who have already made one or two amigurumi.

    Materials Needed

    You can find links to sources for many of my favorite tools and supplies here.

    You'll need. . .

    • 100-150 yards of worsted weight yarn in MC (exact amount varies according to the options you choose, sample shown in Ella Rae Classic Wool)
    • 25-50 yards of worsted weight yarn in CC
    • 10 yards of white worsted weight yarn (optional for buggy eyes)
    • A size H (5.0mm) crochet hook (or size required for a nice-looking fabric)
    • A tapestry needle
    • 12 mm black animal eyes
    • Polyester stuffing

    This pattern is not available for commercial resale. That means you may not copy and sell or digitally distribute the pattern or any variation of the pattern
