It's really handy to have a few different alphabet patterns to work with - so here's a comics-style alphabet for you (including the necessary symbols for when you need to be. . . emphatic) along with a few different speech bubbles.

I show this in use, comic book style, but you can use the alphabet without the speech bubbles too.

Stitch your favorite expression on a T-shirt or pillow. Make a quilt with a different bubble in every block. Make one of the Rainbow Girls tell everyone what's on her mind.

Size

The letters are just a smidge over 1/2 inch tall. You can, of course, enlarge or reduce them to be any size you need.

Difficulty

Super easy! This uses only one embroidery stitch (backstitch) and a very simple fusible appliqué technique.
