Pattern Details

Size

Stuart is 4 inches wide and 2 inches tall when made with worsted weight yarn.

Want a bigger or smaller clam? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!

Difficulty

This is an easy pattern, but the puppet assembly is likely to be new to most stitchers.

  • 3 colors of yarn - less than a skein of each. (The sample uses tan, pink and black.)
  • Size H crochet hook (or size appropriate for yarn chosen)
  • Polyester stuffing
  • 12 mm black safety eyes
  • Tapestry needle
  • Locking stitch markers
