Nathan measures 15” long from bill to tail.
Want a bigger or smaller platypus? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!
Difficulty
This is an easy pattern, but it uses a couple of skills that are best tackled if you've already made one or two amigurumi.

You'll need. . .
- 3 colors of worsted weight yarn (Ella Rae Classic shown in sample): 145 yards of the brown, 120 yards of the tan, and 10 yards of white
- Size H (5.0mm) crochet hook (or nice appropriate for yarn chosen)
- 12 mm plastic animal eyes
- Polyester stuffing
- Tapestry needle
- Locking stitch markers
