Size
Nelson measures about 7.5 inches tall when completed with worsted weight yarn.
Want a bigger or smaller turkey? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!
Difficulty
This is an intermediate pattern, requiring single crochet, increasing and decreasing and color changes. The pdf contains progress photos, Shiny Happy World has tutorials teaching all the skills you'll need.

You'll need. . .
- size H (5 mm) crochet hook
- 4 colors of worsted weight yarn (less than a skein of each): white, brown, orange and yellow
- polyester stuffing
- two 12 mm black animal eyes
- tapestry needle
If you are crocheting this pattern for someone under the age of 3, I recommend embroidering or crocheting the eyes.
