Jackie measures about 8 inches tall when completed with worsted weight yarn.

Want a bigger or smaller turkey? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!

This sweet cow is a beginner level crochet pattern! You only need the most basic skills:

Materials Needed

You'll need. . .

  • size H (5 mm) crochet hook
  • 3 colors of worsted weight yarn (Ella Rae Classic Wool used in the sample): white (155 yards), black (55 yards) and tan (20 yards)
  • polyester stuffing
  • two 18mm brown animal eyes (Handpainted eyes from Suncatcher Eyes used in the sample)
  • tapestry needle
