Chickens embroidery pattern

- +

My daughter used to raise chickens and I loved listening to their happy clucking as they scratched outside the window of my studio.

If you love chickens too, then this is the embroidery pattern for you. 🥰

You can stitch up the group as-is, but I designed it to be easy to pull out individual elements. Stitch the rooster on one tea towel, and hens and chicks on others. Stitch a row of baby chicks around the hem of an apron. Stitch one image on a T-shirt or onesie. You can even skip the stitching and use the designs to make a card! Have fun!

This is exclusively available as a PDF pattern, delivered instantly and ready to print onto letter-size paper. No shipping costs and no waiting! If you're not sure what a PDF pattern is, you'll find more info here.

Pattern Details

You get. . .

  • A digital pattern delivered by email. (If you're not sure what a PDF pattern is, you'll find more info here.)
  • a full-sized digital pattern, in regular orientation and reversed for use with iron-on transfer products
  • a complete color and stitch guide
  • links to videos teaching you every stitch you'll need to complete the project

The full image is 8 inches square. The rooster is 5 inches tall and the little chicks are 1 1/2 inches tall.

You're never even threaded a needle before? No problem! This uses only two stitches. Two super easy stitches. Two of the very first stitches I teach my students. This is a great one for beginners! Add some chickens to your flock right now. :-)

This pattern is not available for commercial resale. That means you may not copy and sell or digitally distribute the pattern or any variation of the pattern

For example, you may not print the pattern and sell those copies.

You may, however, sell anything you make with Shiny Happy World patterns as long as you are the one making it.

For example, if you're using this pattern to make art which you sell at a craft fair or in an online shop, that's great!

If you're hiring out any part of the process, please get in touch and we'll work out a fair licensing agreement.

For example, if you want to have kits printed on fabric, or print the design on greeting cards, those two scenarios would require a licensing agreement. Get in touch! I'm easy to talk to. :-)
