Merrick is 8 inches tall when made with worsted weight yarn.
Want a bigger or smaller monster? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!
Difficulty
This is an intermediate level pattern. It uses a couple of skills that are best tackled if you've already made a few amigurumi.

- increasing
- decreasing
- attaching parts
- crocheting two rounds together to make standing legs
- adding picot bumps
- adding a pocket mouth

You'll need. . .
- In worsted weight yarn - 100 yards of skin-colored yarn, 20 yards of yarn for the pants, and 20 yards of yarn for the pocket mouth
- Size G crochet hook (or size appropriate for yarn chosen)
- Polyester stuffing
- three 16 mm round comic eyes
- Tapestry needle
- Locking stitch markers
