Love this fat cat

This Fat Cat pattern is easy to assemble and the cat is just adorable. Honestly, stitching the face took the most time, but it's so important to have a lovable face, with a cute nose and whiskers, so worth the effort. Working with fleece was a breeze, no curves to clip or seams to press. I made two cats, two Totoros (variation on the Fat Cat pattern) and two Charity Bears as Christmas gifts for my six grandkids, plus a Totoro for one of my adaptive horseback riding students. I've enjoyed having the finished critters sitting around my sewing room and will miss them when I've given them all away.

Great pattern and very fun to make!

This pattern is simple with excellent instructions. I’d never made a stuffie before and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Instead of fleece I made my fat cat from my dad’s flannel shirts as a gift for my sister. Soooo cute!

Great pattern to teach children how to sew

This pattern is the best of both worlds. My 11 year old grandson has taken an interest in sewing. I am old school & like written instructions. He prefers watching video instructions. This combines both styles. We haven't quite finished our first cat & he is asking to make a second cat for his brother.
