Size

Tip is 7 inches tall and has a 17 inch wide clawspan when completed with worsted weight yarn.

Want a bigger or smaller crab? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!

Difficulty

This pattern uses some special shaping. Nothing too hard, but it's best for folks who have made a few amigurumi already.

  • Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors - less than a skein of of each. Sample is made with red, and a tiny bit of white.
  • Size H crochet hook (or size appropriate for yarn chosen)
  • Polyester stuffing
  • 12 mm black eyes
  • Tapestry needle
  • Locking stitch markers
