What you get+-

Meet Munch!

When he gets nervous he nibbles on his hands.

When he gets very nervous he nibbles on his hands and feet.

I think he's very worried about meeting you. :-) He hopes you like him!

His mouth is good for more than nibbling extremities. It's a great place to hide special treasures! And it's surprisingly easy to make. :-)

You Get. . .

  • A digital PDF file delivered instantly by email. If you're not sure what that is, there's more info here.
  • full-sized pattern pieces – no enlarging needed
  • detailed instructions and lots of step by step photos – you’ll never feel lost or wonder if you’re doing it right
  • links to videos teaching you all the skills you’ll need to make your own huggable monster – from sewing curves and stuffing, to stitching up that stuffing hole. You can totally do this! It’s a workshop in a pattern!

Size

9 inches tall (not counting his looong legs) and 9 inches wide at the base. He’s the perfect size for hugging.

Difficulty

Easy! Munch is made with nice big pieces that are easy to work with, gentle curves, nothing fussy. And he's so much fun to play with! Your very own Munch could be nibbling on his hands and feet and guarding special treasures very soon. . .

Cute and easy to make!

This pattern makes such a cute little guy. I have a pretty big tub of fleece and was looking for a pattern to make some fun things for boys. This guy is perfect. I've made three and now plan to make some with different colored arms and legs! One tip: I place the fleece right sides together when cutting out. That way I don't have to turn the pieces before sewing. The pieces are ready to go after cutting. Enjoy!

Love the Munch

I enjoyed watching Munch come to life. The pattern and instructions were concise and easy to follow. I used the plastic pellets that Wendi recommended and they worked beautifully. I did put the ones at the base of the body into a pouch to keep them in place.
Definitely recommend this pattern!

Mr Blue Monster

This pattern came out so cute, I decided to make another for myself. The one I made is for my great nephew. I sent a baggie of plastic dinosaurs along with Mr Monster, with a note saying it was Monster food. I sewed fake fur in the ears, to make the ears hairy. So many ideas to add to the fun monster toy.
