Franklin the Fat Cat softie pattern
Who loves fat cats?
I do!
If you love fat cats too you're in the right place, because Franklin here is not dainty.
Nope! He's a cuddly fat cat - perfect for hugging!
And he's really easy to make - perfect if you've never made a stuffed animal before.
This is exclusively available as a PDF pattern, delivered instantly and ready to print onto letter-size paper. No shipping costs and no waiting! If you're not sure what a PDF pattern is, you'll find more info here.

Difficulty
Easy!
This pattern has nice big pieces that are easy to work with, gentle curves, nothing fussy. If you can use your sewing machine, you can make this adorable, huggable cat.
You can find links to sources for many of my favorite tools and supplies here.
You'll need. . .
- 1/3 yd. fleece fabric (Cuddle Fleece will make an exceptionally soft cat)
- embroidery thread for face (optional - two 12mm safety eyes for the large face or two 6mm safety eyes for the small face)
- 1 cup plastic pellets for filling (I like Fairfield Poly Pellets)
- polyester fiberfill (I love Fairfield brand Soft Touch Polyfil Supreme)

Yes!

For example, if you're using this pattern to make stuffed animals which you sell at a craft fair or in an online shop, that's great!
Talk to Me
If you're hiring out any part of the process, please get in touch and we'll work out a fair licensing agreement.
For example, if you want to hire someone to machine embroider the faces, or do all the stuffing for you, those two scenarios would require a licensing agreement. Get in touch! I'm easy to talk to. :-) smile@shinyhappyworld.com
