Pattern Details

You get. . .

  • A full-sized pattern
  • a complete color and stitch guide
  • links to videos teaching all the stitches I used in the sample

Size

Each little stocking is 4 inches wide and a little over 5 inches tall - just the right size to hold some candy, a small toy, a gift card, or a note promising a fun activity.

Difficulty

All the patterns have the number on the stocking, surrounded by a geometric design that looks complex, but is very easy to stitch. They all use very basic stitches and they all link to videos showing you how to do those stitches.

You can make these!

Materials Needed

You can find links to sources for many of my favorite tools and supplies here.

You'll Need. . .

This collection will be an heirloom that you bring out year after year. Please use a good quality felt - like wool, rayon, or bamboo. The acrylic felt you can buy at most craft stores will pill and look dingy and sad very quickly.

Each sheet of felt will make two stockings. If you make 24 stockings you'll need 12 sheets of felt. If you make 25 you'll need 13 sheets.

You'll also need thread to match your felt colors.

You'll need 9 sheets of Sulky Sticky Fabri-solvy. (One package contains 12 sheets.)

You'll also need some freezer paper to cut out the stocking backs. You can buy it on the roll, or you'll need 9 printable sheets.

    Permissions

This pattern is not available for commercial resale. That means you may not copy and sell or digitally distribute the pattern or any variation of the pattern

For example, you may not print the pattern and sell those copies.

    Yes!

You may, however, sell anything you make with Shiny Happy World patterns as long as you are the one making it.

For example, if you're using this pattern to make dolls and clothing which you sell at a craft fair or in an online shop, that's great!

    Talk to Me

If you're hiring out any part of the process, please get in touch and we'll work out a fair licensing agreement.

For example, if you want to hire someone to machine embroider the faces, or do all the stuffing for you, those two scenarios would require a licensing agreement. Get in touch! I'm easy to talk to. :-) smile@shinyhappyworld.com
