- crochet hook (2 sizes, determined by yarn)
- 2 colors of worsted weight yarn - less than a skein of each. The sample uses green and orange.
- black felt and white glue
- polyester stuffing
- tapestry needle
- locking stitch markers (to count stitches and rounds)
